Its fun and easy to change colors and patterns giving you endless personalisation. They can stroll downtown to hang out with friends, meet someone new at the park, or run into colleagues on the street. Select from dozens of personality traits and combine them in fun ways. The combination of traits you choosebrave, artistic, loner, perfectionist, klepto, romantic, clumsy. So seriously i think we all should have a chance to at least get our hands on a Create a Sim demo. I remembered when the sims 3 pets was going to be released, EAThe Sims Team. I think if they did this for the Sims 4 released a create a sim demo for us, it would help market the game. I would like to be able to play around in CAS and the be able to play perhaps one sim day to get a feel for the new world (open or closed) and how the game differs from the previous versions. Although it would be fun for us to get our hands on a C-A-S tool it poses a problem for EA cause if players dont like it many of them wont buy the game. I think this would be a fantastic idea, even if we werent able to save the Sims we made. ![]() It really does look as if youll be able to do a ton more customization than you can in TS3. And you KNOW people would be screenshotting the heck out of their creations and posting them in the forums and the next thing you know Simmers would be holding contests for various things and it would create a HUGE amount of buzz. I dont think they should go so far as to let us play a game day completely, mostly because the game may simply not be ready and wed have to wait longer. But say they let us make a 2 Sim household and then just put the 2 Sims in a room together with a few items they can interact with. Let us see how this new emotion system really works in play and how the Sims move and act and react. Finally, there SHOULD be a beta for TS4 that people can sign up for and a few lucky folks get chosen for. MMOs do this to let players test out the game and discover any bugs or other problems the devs may have missed. I know the Sims is a stand alone game but it totally makes sense for them to do this anyway because PLAYERS ALWAYS find a way to break things and the devs need to know this BEFORE the game is shipped. It ESPECIALLY makes sense for them to do this in light of how broken TS3 is and the disastrous launches of Sim City and Battlefield. MANY people are saying theres no way theyll buy TS4 because of how broken TS3 is and has never been fixed. Were going to need more in order to be able to trust that TS4 wont just be more of the same in a newer more expensive package. I think a Create-A-Sim or BodyShop demo program would help to stir up some excitement for The Sims 4. Right now, theres nothing but speculation and the occasional photo gleaned from Twitter. It would totally make me more excited for TS4 if I got my hands on a CASBodyshop demo.
